2024 MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins raises a record $10.2 million!!
The 2024 MACA Cancer 200 Ride for the Perkins was staged over the weekend with nearly 2,000 riders riding 200kms over two days and raising a remarkable $10.2 million to support cancer research in WA at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
All riders set off on Saturday morning at 7am from Optus Stadium in mild conditions and despite a strong head wind, arrived in Mandurah from late morning to mid afternoon.
Riders were treated to an evening of great food, drinks and shared inspirational and emotional stories from those who have been touched by cancer within the Perkins / MACA Cancer 200 community. Everyone stayed in Mandurah overnight with nearly 1,000 riders camping at the Satellite venue in Mandurah.
The weather was perfect on Sunday with all riders returning to the Optus Stadium precinct and end of ride celebrations back at The Camfield.
As official hydration partner for the 6th year running, eniQ products were provided in all race packs and made available throughout the two days to ensure all riders were well hydrated.
We received overwhelmingly positive feedback on our products and gratitude for our support as a long time partner of the event.
In addition, we were proud to support 3 of our valued customers - Komatsu, Coates Hire and Rio Tinto - with custom eniQ drink bottles for their teams.
