Alex de Minaur wins his first ATP Tour title on grass at Eastbourne

eniQ ambassador Alex de Minaur won his first ATP Tour title on grass at the Viking International Eastbourne in the United Kingdom, with an epic "come from behind'' win against Italian Lorenzo Sonego on Saturday night (Australian time).

de Minaur, Australia's top-ranked player and the tournament #2 seed, made it through to the final after 3 straight set wins.

However the final was a much tougher assignment against the #3 seed and world #27, Sonego.

de Minaur lost the first set 4-6 but fought back to overcome Sonego 6-4, 7-6(5) in an incredible match that lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes.

This is de Minaur's 5th ATP title but his first on grass.  His other 4 wins have come on hard courts.

de Minaur has a strong 8-2 win-loss record this season on grass, including a semi-final finish at Queens, and is well prepared for Wimbledon this week where he is seeded #15.

He takes on American Sebastian Korda in the first round on Monday night (UK time).

Alex's Eastbourne win takes him to a career high ranking of world #15.

eniQ products have played an important role in Alex's hydration & recovery this week.

Alex has been using the eniQ electrolyte to stay hydrated on court and the eniQ electrolyte whey protein isolate to rehydrate and recover between matches.

Lemon Lime & Blackcurrant are his favourite flavours.
