The 2022 MACA Cancer 200 Ride for Research was staged over the weekend with 1,500 riders riding 200kms over two days and raising a remarkable $8.5 million to support cancer research in WA at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

All riders set off (in teams) on Saturday morning at 7am from Optus Stadium with a light northerly breeze at their back, arriving in Mandurah from late morning to mid afternoon.

The 2022 Hawaiian Ride for Youth crossed the finish line at the University of Western Australia recently, raising a record $2.9m for Youth Focus, a charity supporting young people and their mental health.
The peloton, with over 210 riders and 50 support crew, set off from Albany on the south coast of Western Australia, riding 700km via 3 routes  - Wheatbelt, Inland & Coastal - arriving in Perth 5 days later.
